Weekly Photo Challenge: Near and Far

I took this shot today from the Vancouver Convention Center. The two ships, one inbound and the other departing to points unknown, perhaps near or perhaps far. One of the many float planes leaving for a coastal community near Vancouver. There are also the mountains which although they appear far away are really only a few miles away.
