Sightseeing & detours on the path of enlightenment

Living in the moment

Today is a short post, it’s a beautiful sunny day, and I am going to live in the moment, not at the computer. Other than work stuff, the rest of the day, will be enjoying the moments, that we too often rush past. Have a conversation over coffee with a friend, stroll along the waters edge, and check out a restaurant that someone told me about. So where ever you are, what ever your doing take at least 30 minutes today and just be in the moment, not making a list of grocery shopping, or checking your smart phone for messages, not surfing the net, or anything else. Just be a human among all the other beings, watch an eagle fly, dogs chase their tales, or smile at someone.

  1. You sir have a very wise and sound outlook upon life. It is great to come across a fellow Buddhist here. Bowing to you in Gassho brother 🙂

    • Thank you for the kind words. Any wisdom I have gained, as been through the patience of those I have met, who passed along their lessons. Any mistakes I will accept responsibility for, as I probably wasn’t paying attention when I should have been.

  2. Great! Thanks for sharing your wisdom! with metta
