What type of day are you going to have?
When you wake up in the morning what is your mood? Are you still tired, perhaps short on sleep? Scientists who study sleep now confirm what The Buddha taught over 2500 years ago. That if we go to sleep without worries, unresolved anger and other mental afflictions we sleep better. So today are you going to try to be easy going, have a calm heart, forgive things, smile and genuinely try to treat others the way you would like to be treated? not only will you be spreading joy, happiness and peace to others around you, you will make it easier for yourself to have a restful sleep. When we put the happiness of others first, we also benefit more than when we put ourselves first.
