Masks and snake skins
I have written before about how we all wear different masks though our lives. perhaps a better analogy would be we are all like snakes. Each person we meet we have a skin that they see, when we part ways with that person we shed our skin, showing a different skin to another. Yet even though we shed this skin we are still the same being that wore it, regardless of what skin we show to the next person. The only true change is when we change what is on the inside, not just what we show to the world.
