Daily Prompt: Ghostwriter
If you could have any author –living or dead – write your biography, who would you choose?
This isn’t an easy post to answer. Do I choose one of the historical authors who have written books of wisdom, such as Laozi (Lao Tzu), or perhaps Benjamin Franklin for writing Poor Richard’s Almanac. Perhaps Shakespeare, could do something along a Midsummer Night’s Dream, but I would have to draw the line, no modern version of Macbeth. Also Anne McCaffrey who wrote the Pern series. I could also chose from one of the fine writer’s I have met here on WordPress. There are also all the fine biography co-writers out there, such as Patrick Robinson who helped write the biography for Admiral Sir Sandy Woodward. I wouldn’t choose one of the authors you find on an essay mill, where some students go to get entrance essays, term papers, theses, and dissertations, written.
It depends on what tack that I want for my biography. So today I would choose to have an anthology style done, where friends and colleagues could write short memoirs of me, and have you the readers of my blog, vote as to which ones should be included. However I would retain, Laozi to insure that the book passed along some distilled essence of wisdom to offset the comical, and tragic parts of my story.

I might wait for the movie!
Great choices though!
Sorry the movie rights are pending the completion of the biography, so hopefully about 30 years or more. Then allow for rewrites, estate approval etc, you might have to catch the movie in the next life, in what ever form you perceive that to be.
