Weekly Photo Challenge: Forward

In a new post specifically created for this challenge, share a picture that says FORWARD to you.

2012-09-29_15-55-44_229_opt

This picture has several different instances of forward, all happening at the same time. The river is flowing to the west which is towards the left in the picture. While the train is eventually heading east, but as the tracks follow the valley, it’s taking the winding road forward. While I was on a bus heading east, which was about to enter a tunnel to avoid going the long way, via the valley. The clouds didn’t agree with anyone or anything else at that point, as they were heading northeast. So which direction was forward again?
