Daily Prompt: Mentor Me

Have you ever had a mentor? What was the greatest lesson you learned from him or her?

I have had several people in my life who I could call mentors. Some where and still are friends. They have taught me about life, by how they live their own lives. In work I have been blessed by several bosses who have taught me, given me new responsibilities and helped me learn the ropes.

To me, having a mentor can be as simple as being open to learning from other people. So perhaps I find it easier to have mentors, because I’m open to learning from those around me.

  5. I like your comment that you have to be open to learn. I think the more open you are then you can learn just by watching people without having to be told anything.
