New Dentist
Not only did I get my first, and hopefully last root canal today, after finding out Saturday I need it. I found out over 50 years worth of brushing my teeth, I was doing it wrong. My protests of doing it the way I was shown by the dentist as a youth, fell on ears that weren’t deaf. However they belonged to a dental hygienist that, told me it’s time to change. Seems the old up and down motion doesn’t clean along or below the gums, you need to angle the brush so the edges sweep along the gum where it meets the tooth. The dentist explained everything clearly, which makes it easier, when you know what to expect. I am very pleased as, they did a great job, and I am in minimal pain afterwards, compared to the horror stories all my friends told me. So back to regular posts tomorrow.
