I took this shot in the park near Science World in Vancouver Canada. This is one of several that are here, they made use of stumps that would otherwise have been destroyed.
As to the rules, I picked an overcast day to get a diffused light effect. Normally I have been a sun behind me type of photographer, so was stretching a little.
